Golden Jubilee Celebrations: Mahabodhi Society, Bangalore, which was established in 1956 by the great Buddhist monk, Ven. Acharya Buddharakkhita celebrated its 50 years of selfless service on Buddha Purnima, 13th May, 2006 with various programs in all its centers all over India. To celebrate the Golden Jubilee the following year-long spiritual and humanitarian programs have been organized.
