Earlier in the Mahabodhi Rita Girls Home we used to purchase 20 liters of milk per day which we got with difficulty. But children avoided taking it because it was mixed with water and chemicals. With these experiences Venerable Kassapa Thera, Chairman of Mahabodhi Arunachal Pradesh, worked hard to start a dairy farm to provide pure milk to children and avoid health problems. Now in the Mahabodhi Sujata Dairy farm there are 10 cows, 9 calves and 1 bull and daily milk production is upto 40 liters. We are very much thankful to all sponsors for their contribution for this project. We need a fund to build up a shed to protect cows from rain, heat and cold which will cost is Rs: 300,000/- (€ 5000). We would also like to add more cows as the number of girls is also increasing year by year. Each cow costs Rs.20,000 (300 €). We request you to kindly help us.
