On 19th May 2008, the Sacred Full Moon Day (Buddha Jayanti), with the generosity of some German donors the Mahabodhi Diyun has launched Mahabodhi Malarial Prevention Program and distributed 500 Mosquito Nets to the poor and needy people of Diyun area. The people are grateful to the Mahabodhi and the donors as they are saved and protected from mosquito bites and malaria. The program is continued since then and we have distributed 100s of mosquito nets. We would like to continue this program every year and we seek your kind support for this. Each mosquito net costs 4 Euro. We also distribute blankets as in the winter temperature can go down upto 2 degrees. Each blanket costs 4 Euro.
